Project Brief

TMG provided design and field administration services for the mechanical and electrical systems, including fire alarm, sprinkler, plumbing, HVAC (including variable air volume capability), emergency power, and electrical distribution. A central plant supplies all the heating and cooling; four 1,000-ton centrifugal chillers provide water for the cooling system and three combination gas/oil hot water boilers ensure proper heating.

The project consisted of a new 16-story atrium tower with 244 luxury suites, four restaurants, a bus depot, kitchen, bay cabaret, baccarat gaming room, and several casino areas. Renovation work included various meeting rooms, offices, and banquet rooms.

The emergency power system consists of two 1,000 KVA emergency generators which serve all of the safety equipment, emergency lighting, and all of the casino gaming equipment.

Total construction cost exceeded $70 million.
